BBC Three have announced that Meet the Khans: Big in Bolton will return by popular demand for a second series.

Offering an exclusive insight into the lives of world champion boxer Amir Khan and his model and influencer wife, Faryal Makhdoom, the hit show is returning to eager fans awaiting more of the duo juggling marriage, parenthood and their high-profile, demanding careers. Season 2 promises more of the day-to-day life of both Amir and Faryal whilst also introducing viewers to more of the couple’s wider family and friends. 

Spokesman for the BBC commented that the show is “an exclusive insight into the real couple behind the splashy tabloid headlines, glitzy boxing matches and glamorous posed photoshoots. In this access all areas series into the dynamics of this young couple, famed for the colourful lifestyle; we join them in Amir’s beloved Bolton, meeting the extended Khan clan, his trusted gang of old mates and the boxing hub where he mentors young local lads. It also follows ambitious entrepreneur Faryal, as she ramps up her business plans, all this with three mini Khans in tow!”. 

The release date for the second season is yet to be confirmed, however fans can still watch the first series on BBC iPlayer.
