The Issue

With over two million people left without food, water, or fuel, and facing the daily horror of major airstrikes, innocent civilians in Gaza are facing the worst humanitarian crisis of their lives.

“For longer than I have lived, Palestinians have been suffering. Today, they face the worst circumstances imaginable, with no electricity, and water, food, fuel, and medical supplies quickly running out. Innocent civilians in Gaza have lost their homes and have no access to food, water, or electricity. We must act now to offer critical humanitarian support and save lives”

Our Response

The Amir Khan Foundation has launched an emergency appeal to provide critical humanitarian relief to innocent civilians in Palestine, in partnership with the Turkish Red Crescent.

With a long-standing history of providing aid to Gaza, the Turkish Red Crescent has already been collaborating with local teams to distribute humanitarian assistance, because no outside relief workers can cross borders into the area. In addition, a cargo shipment with food and medical supplies has been received, unloaded, and prepared in preparation for its delivery to Gaza as soon as it becomes possible to do so. Finally, the Turkish Red Crescent is at the forefront of efforts to establish a safe humanitarian corridor to bring relief materials from outside Gaza. The Amir Khan Foundation has also been working independently with local teams on the ground to distribute urgent food supplies to meet critical short-term needs.

However, with food supplies running out, no clean water, the risk of waterborne diseases, a shortage of medical supplies, a collapsing health system, and a war predicted to last over 6 months, we are likely to see one of the worst humanitarian catastrophes of our lifetimes.

We need your help to respond as best we can to the circumstances on the ground. Please donate now.
