The Issue

A 7.8 magnitude earthquake has caused widespread devastation across Turkey and Syria, resulting in a three-month state emergency. More than 17,000 people have been killed, with the death toll rising every hour.

“Like most of you, I have been heartbroken looking at the pictures and videos coming out of Turkey. Entire families have lost their lives and countless others remain buried under the rubble. The global community must mobilise now to help Turkey.”

Our Response

The Amir Khan Foundation has launched an emergency appeal in partnership with One Family Global to help provide critical support to those suffering across Turkey.

In support of the Turkish Red Crescent, and in partnership with Turkish Airlines, the Amir Khan Foundation is providing critical relief supplies, as survivors are subjected to freezing winter temperatures without shelter, food or access to basic hygiene supplies. Your support will help with critical supplies, including:

• Tents
• Blankets
• Basic food supplies
• Hygiene Items

An initial 10 tons of aid will be delivered via Turkish Airlines on a rolling, weekly basis, beginning Thursday 16th February. Pledge your support now.
