The Issue

Flash floods in Bangladesh have caused millions to become internally displaced, with people’s access to basic necessities such as food, water and healthcare being restricted.

“The people of Bangladesh have been subjected to unpredictable, violent storms causing severe destruction to their homes and livelihoods. Entire villages have been submerged in water - leaving people no choice but to escape to find safety. We must act now to help provide support to the people of Bangladesh”.

Our Response

The Amir Khan Foundation has launched an emergency fundraising appeal to support the dire situation in Bangladesh as severe flash floods have left the country in a state of emergency.

The Amir Khan Foundation is providing first-hand support on the ground to deal with the emergency. Our focus remains on five key provisions:

• Hot meals to rescue centres
• Dry food packs to families
• Monthly food packs
• Materials to rebuild houses
• Basic medical supplies

As the death toll continues to rise and emergency supplies deplete, your donations become more and more crucial to saving lives. Pledge your support now.
